Yes. The first visit from Nuance Design Build is a free consultation at your home, and you are under no obligation. We talk through your needs and ideas, take every measurement, then follow up with a detailed quote you are free to turn down.
Whatever you know so far: which rooms, roughly what you want to change, what bothers you about them now and when you hope to start. None of it has to be exact. Nuance Design Build measures at the first visit, which is also the time to show any photos or plans you have.
No. Nuance Design Build is a design-build company, so design, budgeting and construction sit with one team. You can start with a room and an idea. The design is worked out after the consultation, and where the work needs a permit, the drawings and paperwork are handled for you.
Nuance Design Build works in 18 cities: Richmond Hill (our base), Vaughan, Markham, Thornhill, King City, Aurora, Newmarket, Stouffville, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Pickering, Ajax and Whitby. Your request goes to the Nuance Design Build team, who contact you to set a time for the consultation at your home. At that visit you talk the project through in detail and we take every measurement.
Once the full scope is clear, Nuance Design Build prepares a detailed, transparent quote and works through it with you to fit your budget and priorities. The aim is a predictable renovation with no hidden costs.
Nuance Design Build does. If the work needs a building permit, we prepare the paperwork and applications and deal with the city on by-laws and zoning, since each project and location can need its own application.
